Dear Friends:

             On behalf of members of Council and the residents of the City of Mississauga, I am pleased to extend greetings to the guests and participants of the Communily Crime Awareness Day event organized by the Mississauga Chinese Business Association, the Peel Regional Police, Rogers Television and Safe City Mississauga.

             This event will provide an opportunity for residents and businesses to raise awareness and understanding of crime prevention. I am very pleased to know that so many are concerned with issues of crime prevention and education is key to maintaining a safe community.

              Mississauga is recognized as the safest city in the country. Our aim is to continue working with residents, businesses and community groups to bolster our leadership status among cities. I am very pleased that our residents and businesses know that they are living in the safest community of its kind in Canada.
